Defensive Driving Program

It's just not enough to be a good and safe driver today! Today's difficult driving conditions also require strong "defensive driving" skills and techniques to avoid the all-too-common traffic collisions. At Access Education Driving School we are committed to providing the highest quality in driver education and in defensive driving, and we are very pleased to offer this course to our community! We invite you to consider the following benefits of our Defensive Driving Course.

Classroom Course

Access Education Driving School's Defensive Driving Program has received the approval and is licensed by the State Department of Driver's Services. This State approved course is designed to:

1. Reduce automobile insurance rates (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 33-9-42)
2. Reduce up to 7 points from your individual driving record (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 40-5-86)
3. Provide an avenue of license reinstatement (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 40-5-84(b)
4. Provide fine reduction or comply with court order (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 40-5-57)
5. Fine reduction or no points assessment in accordance (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 40-5-57)
6. Meet employer training and safety requirements

This 6 hour classroom course is taught on select weekdays and weekends and is limited to the first 31 people who enroll in person, online or over the phone. We also offer corporate and group Defensive Driving training that can be customized to fit the schedule and budget of the organization. We can also arrange catering and additional amenities for a customized group class. The course covers eight chapters in 2 - 3 hour sessions, and a mandatory final exam is given. Certificates of Completion are issued immediately upon completion.

On-Line Course

Take your Georgia Driver Improvement Court Course Online. Did the Court authorize you to take a Georgia Driver Improvement Course? If the court has approved the online course then, you'll meet your court requirement to complete a Georgia Driver Improvement Program.

The program called the Georgia Driver Improvement Program and the Defensive Driving course are one in the same and may meet your court requirement. Please note that some Georgia courts do not accept the online course for license reinstatement or point reduction. If you aren't sure, check with your respective court to confirm that the online Defensive Driving course is approved. You'll have the freedom to:

  • Complete the Course in Sections or All at Once

  • Access the Course Any Time 24/7

  • Create Your Own Schedule With Up to 90 Days to Complete the Course
